Some bittersweet news: our brilliant Helena is moving on from her role at Steel Chicks as she steps into a career in teaching.

Helena was instrumental in getting Steel Chicks off the ground, from shaping the social enterprise vision to building strong connections with our community. Her impact is woven into everything we do, and we’re beyond grateful for her help and passion in directing this project.

While we’re going to miss her day-to-day energy and smarts, we’re beyond proud of this next chapter, and to see her spreading her wings and heading into the classroom to pursue the teaching career she’s been working so hard for during the last few years.

Don’t worry—you’ll still see her around at events, cheering us on and championing women in steel. We wish you the absolute best, Helena. The kids are very lucky to have you!
